Kaley Cross is a passionate sustainability professional with a career dedicated to waste reduction, circular economy solutions, and corporate sustainability. She has worked with over a hundred companies in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry to develop and implement sustainability strategies, including certifying multiple B Corporations. Holding a BS in Environmental Science from NC State University and an MS in Sustainability Studies from Lenoir-Rhyne University, she first discovered her passion for sustainability after attending a conference in 2016.
Currently, Kaley is the Sustainability Manager at Grove Collaborative, where she leads waste reduction and sustainability initiatives for the company’s operations. She also serves as Volunteer Programs Manager at The Great Raleigh Cleanup, overseeing community engagement efforts to combat litter and foster environmental stewardship. Additionally, she is the Founder of Circular Roots Consulting, helping organizations integrate sustainability into their operations through circular economy strategies.
Beyond her professional roles, Kaley serves as the Board Chair for B Local Triangle and Events Chair for Circular Triangle, coordinating sustainability-focused events and partnerships. With experience spanning corporate, nonprofit, and community-driven sustainability efforts, she is committed to making sustainability accessible and actionable for businesses and individuals.
