Milwaukee Riverkeeper will provide bags, gloves, supplies and FREE T-SHIRTS, and YOU provide the hands and energy to pick up trash. Grab a garbage bag, and let's clean up! We look forward to rolling up our sleeves together and making a positive impact on Milwaukee’s waterways!
Participants will receive a free drink at Lakefront Brewery after the cleanups. Please follow this
registration link which includes the waiver and T-shirt size form.
What to expect:
- A brief welcome and safety overview from the Milwaukee Riverkeepers team
- A guided cleanup along the river and surrounding areas
- Time to connect with fellow participants while supporting a healthier watershed
Key Info for Attendees:- Location: Meet at Cambridge Commons at UWM, 2323 N Cambridge Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53211
- Timing: Meet at the cleanup location at 2pm, or convene at the Hyatt Regency at 1:30pm for ride shares. Look for an individual holding a Milwaukee Riverkeeper Sign. The cleanup will plan to wrap by 4pm.
- Transportation: A Lyft code (MRCC26) is available for your use. To help us make the most of these shared resources, we kindly encourage coordinating rides to and from Cambridge Commons with fellow attendees whenever possible.
- What to Bring: Refillable water bottle, wear comfortable closed-toe shoes & dress for the weather.
