Join Korinne Haeffel of the U.S. Green Building Council for an immersive tour highlighting Milwaukee’s most innovative sustainable built-environment projects. Weather permitting, the experience will include a walking tour of LEED-certified buildings in the Milwaukee area. Milwaukee is home to exceptional examples of green building, from pioneering mass timber and adaptive reuse projects to high-performance operations and maintenance, including the first project in the United States to earn LEED v5 O+M certification. Through on-the-ground observations and expert insights, Korinne will showcase the strategies, technologies, and community partnerships driving the city’s sustainability progress, offering a firsthand look at how thoughtful design and collaboration are shaping a healthier, more resilient urban future.

The tour begins promptly at 10:00 AM. Walking Expectations:This tour involves
a significant amount of walking and standing over four hours, including outdoor segments between sites. Comfortable footwear and weather-appropriate clothing are strongly recommended.
