About me
I am 1/3 of a kick-ass, co-CEO partner team helping to steer the ship at Baldwin&. We took over the helm from the legendary David Baldwin in August 2023 and are excited to be the newest architects of Baldwin& 2.0.
I joined Baldwin& in 2016 to grow and lead the brand strategy practice after years of cutting my teeth at agencies in the Bay Area, working on global brands like Apple, Audi, AAA and Callaway Golf.
Since being at Baldwin& I’ve tackled all things brand and strategy for established companies like, Krispy Kreme, Gaia Herbs, Lansinoh, and KIOTI tractors — while also helping to build start-up brands like Circ, Pivotal, Shibumi Shade, and Ithaca Hummus.
I’ve learned a thing or two over the years working across many categories, businesses types, and partnerships, but most importantly this:
Most people don’t start companies simply to make money—or at least the companies we work with at Baldwin& certainly didn’t. Which means, most brands have an intrinsic goodness built right into their DNA. They have a unique reason for being that begets the creation of a sweet service or product that people either really need or really want. A meaningful exchange, minus any BS, equals a strong relationship. Voila!
It’s been my experience that once you can find the humanity in most things, the rest of the problems seem to work themselves out. And that, being yourself (brand-self or human-self), is the best sales tool you can ever uncover.
My 20-year career has been dedicated to extricating that goodness from the past, present and future of companies, to help them either become or get back to their most interesting, most real-ist parts.
I’ve had the great honor of working alongside genius creative minds that can, as if by magic, bring those brands to life in a million big and small ways, in what are now a million big and small spaces. Many of those people currently work at Baldwin&. I’m eternally grateful to my people near and far, past and present.
So, if you’re up for a little brand therapy, followed by some kick-ass creative work — brand ID, social content, web, advertising, or otherwise — that brings that brand to life, holler. We’d love to welcome you in for a Ponysaurus brew and a nice long chat.
