About me
Raynetta “Ray” Hill is a dynamic leader passionate about fostering economic growth through collaborative leadership and advocacy for social and economic impact. Serving as Executive Director she has a strong track record in both the private and nonprofit real estate sectors, Ray has played pivotal roles, including overseeing a $14.1 million redevelopment project and increasing institutional philanthropic giving for CommonBond Communities in Wisconsin. She also managed extensive residential portfolios as operations manager for National Management.
Ray is deeply familiar with the BID and the Bronzeville district, having served as the Associate Director for the Historic Business Improvement District No. 8, where she drove revitalization efforts and enhanced engagement with local stakeholders.
Active in community service, Ray serves on multiple boards and committees focused on economic impact. In her free time, she enjoys family, and activities related to food, art, and music.
Notably, Ray was appointed by Governor Evers to the Wisconsin Housing Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) and became Vice Chair in 2021. She has been recognized with several honors, including the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award and the Young Pioneer Award from the African American Chamber of Commerce in 2021.
