Kate Huibers is the Head of ESG at Tru Earth®, an award-winning organization, based in Port Moody, B.C. which began operation in April of 2019. Kate was recently named an Emerging Leader by Canada’s Clean50 for 2024.
Through a focus on environmental justice, Kate spearheads a donation matching program helping underprivileged frontline communities experiencing the most adverse effects of the climate crisis, which to date has provided more than 34+ million laundry eco-strips to non-profit organizations in Canada, USA and around the world.
In addition, Kate works with World Vision as a member of their Corporate Engagement Advisory Council which promotes corporate engagement opportunities in support of World Vision Canada (WVC), help WVC ignite solutions and drive impact that will help the most vulnerable children & families across the globe.
