About me
As Chief Operating Officer for King Arthur Baking Company, Janis Abbingsole leads the company’s supply chain strategy and execution, including mill relations, sourcing, planning, manufacturing, logistics & customer operations, quality assurance & safety as well as impact. As a 100% employee-owned benefit corporation, King Arthur Baking believes in the power of baking to bring people together and build stronger communities.
Janis joined King Arthur Baking (KAB) in 2019, bringing 25 years of experience in operational and supply chain leadership. Prior to joining KAB, Janis served as Chief Strategy Officer and Partner at Newmine Omni-Channel Retail Consulting, a highly focused consulting firm working with some of the retail industry's most iconic brands to transform their customer experience and enhance profitability. Prior to Newmine, she was with Title Nine for almost a decade in several senior leadership roles, across customer service, warehousing, IT and inventory planning, building an end-to-end supply chain and procurement experience.
Janis earned a bachelor’s degree at University of California, Santa Cruz and attended Georgetown University’s Executive Transformational Leadership program. She currently sits on the Board of Directors at The Hartsbrook Waldorf School in Hadley, MA.
